　　2007年，全行业的工业总产值217.46亿元，工业增加值达到65.30亿元，产品出口交货值为12.85亿元。而30年前，1978年全行业工业总产值仅几亿元，行业产能3万余吨，建材机械行业近90%依赖进口。

　　30年来，建材机械行业的企业经济结构和机制发生了明显的变化，由原来100%是国有企业组成，转变为90%以上是民营企业和多元投资主体的股份制企业，国有企业的比重大幅度下降。同时，行业、企业间的重组成效显著，一些大型建材机械企业集团正逐步形成。体制和机制的变化增强了企业的活力和适应市场的能力，加速了企业的产品结构调整和综合竞争力的提升，也为建材机械行业的持续发展奠定了重要的基础。

　　二、改革开放使行业制造能力大幅度提升，质量管理水平逐步提高

　　1978年，全国主要建材机械企业仅有20余家，拥有3吨～10吨电弧炉6座，年产钢水4万吨;年加工配件1.5万余吨，专业设备3万余吨。目前，建材机械行业已拥有上千家企业，其中的骨干企业(集团)通过进一步的技术改造，较好地完善了加工制造工艺，增添了一大批高、精、尖的大型加工设备和检测手段，如数控切割机、光电跟踪切割机、自动化焊接设备、大型滚齿机(最大椎14m)、大型筒体车床(最大椎12.5m)，以及相应的起重设施、精密铸造设备、整体退火炉等，提升了行业的加工能力和制造水平，有效地提高了建材机械装备产品的质量及技术性能。

　　三、改革开放使行业的生产技术水平与世界水平拉近或持平

　　改革开放前，中国建材机械行业的生产技术水平与世界水平大致相差近40年，全国仅有的20多家建材机械厂是在水泥厂、玻璃厂的机械维修车间或学校的实习车间基础上成立的，仅能生产一些简单的建材设备及配件，建材工业所需的生产线设备主要依赖进口。1978年以后，通过国家组织行业引进，消化吸收世界先进技术，并通过国内的研制，中国建材机械装备的技术水平有了较大提高。目前，我国建材机械装备的技术含量大幅提升，有些新技术和新产品的水平达到或接近世界先进水平。国内外用户对国产建材机械产品的认同度提高，建材机械行业为建材工业的建设提供了强有力的支撑。
