2008年11月28日，第四届中国国际工程机械、建材机械、工程车辆及设备博览会在万众瞩目中完美谢幕，多项数据纪录再次被刷新，成为一届非常成功的展会。其观众数量达到了11.3万名，其中1.7万名来自中国以外的123个国家和地区。来自印度、俄罗斯、日本、韩国和巴西的观众数量占据海外观众数量的前五名。此外还有来自15个国家的超过30个代表团参观了展会。这既说明工程机械的热点在中国，同时也从侧面反映了建筑机械行业对中国经济远景的乐观态度。

　　展会虽然只有四天的时间，各路参展商充分利用有限的时间与空间在同一个平台展示自己的产品和形象。更多的氛围是通过产品进行技术、制造工艺的比拼，参展规模的较量，更深的层次是企业文化价值观的展示。从参展的层次上可划分为三大阵营：

　　一、大型知名企业参展商，所表现出的综合实力较强，展会的视觉几乎被有数的几家知名企业所占据，将参展的方式与其他广告宣传形式相呼应。从参展形式上审视具有清晰的战略考量和策略规划。

　　二、行业内知名企业参展商，这类企业由于产品单一，参展目标有限。主要是通过新产品将其技术和制造的专业化加以展示。具有明确的市场细分定位。
